...the end of the strip and just about to the end of the tach, but not quite (7300 RPM or so). I'm wrapping 3rd so close to the end of the track that any additional power I'd gain from shifting to fourth would be offset greater than or equally by the time it takes to make the shift. So yes, you are correct sir. We'll see if that changes with the new setup, though I doubt it would.
